Yesterday, I was at my local gaming store with my son, and we both participated in a \"Paint and Take\" sponsored by Reaper. I usually use GW paints but yesterday I tried the Reaper paints and was impressed with their variety and color range. If the members of CMON have the time I have a few questions I was wondering about...
1) Has anyone here used Reaper silk colors yet? They are a line of paints with some opalencense mixed in. If you have used them, what did you paint with them and how were your results?
2) What is your opinion on the Reaper inks and ink extender? What is the role of ink extender and why would I want to purchase it instead of diluting with water or magic wash? Is ink extender compatable with the GW inks?
Thank you for your time, in advance. I hope someone has the answer to these questions as I was excited to try these paints but I did want to here the opinions of the CMON membership before laying out a nice chuck of cash to add these to my painting arsenal.
