Ratings????

I don\'t quite get this rating thing....

Yesterday I was something like 2500 of 4900, and now I am dead last!

What is wrong? My scores havn\'t gone down or anything...???

You need 5 minis with 50 votes each to get a rating. You don\'t at the moment. Have you removed some old miniatures?

Oh, that explains it - I just removed some of my old paint jobs that were bad...

So if you people could all go to my gallery and vote....:D

and only your top 5 rated minis will count towards your overall rating, so there\'s no point in removing your old minis. In fact, you should leave them up so people can see how you\'ve improved! (every time I get really discouraged by some of the over-the-top painters around here, I look at their galleries at their first submissions...)

1) do you know if it\'s then the average score of those top 5 that decides yout ranking or something completly different chaos math???

2) I\'ll use that trick

It also seems that the number of registrated users goes up and down quite a bit, anyone know why? Dropped like 1500 persons from yesterday - snotlings? ;)

Actually, it\'s a bug in the ranking system.
For some reason it keeps screwing up the ranking.
I\'ve been around 1075 for a while now, but twice in the past month or so I have shown as last place.
I\'ve given up complaining because it inevitably gets corrected then messed up again.

i have noticed this also. it seems to happen at night where everyone seems to have joined at the same time also. 4/5/2007. at least thats what shows up late at night when they are updating?
dunno funny though:D

Always bumps me up a few hundred *laughs*

Seems to happen every so often and then is fixed the next time everything updates, noticed that the registered voters average hasn\'t updated since this last time though. *shrug* Odd one.
