Raptors Primaris captain WIP

So...it's been a while since I last posted. Things have been difficult lately but I'm back at the brush and working on something new. This is the start of my Primaris Captain that I picked up at a store anniversary. I decided to with the Raptors chapter simply because I enjoy painting green and needed to do something to get back in the saddle. More posts to follow.View attachment 68494

Hi AJ, yeah ive got tonnes to do yet this is just the start of it. I was gonna swap the plasma pistol for a silenced bolt pistol but still not sure. I'll be freehanding the chapter insignia on and doing some other bits and pieces.

Nice to hear, that not only my desk is populated with tons of minis yelling&screaming to get painted.
And always motivating to have some progress. But don't rush through it. Looking forward to see your freehand-work on this mini.
Freehanding is for me still a big working area...

Yeah I'll be taking my time to enjoy this one. Been too long since I've had the motivation to pick up a brush so I fully intend to relish it...and yeah my painting to do list is huge at the minute lol

Motivation waxes and wanes with all of us I think. Primaris captain looks great so far buddy, they're great models for fun painting.

Bit more work in between coughing fits. Lightening the greens 1st then I'll move on to the other details
