Random mini idea... (prolly good for something)

right...

so was lookin at warmaster minis... and inquisitor minis...

and it idea hit me...

someone needs to make a mini/sculpture/whatever you wanna call it...

of a pair of Inquisitors (40k) playing 40k...
like two guys from the inquisitor scale standing around a table with dice, red pokey sticks, books, and the lot, with Epic 40k figs on the table in proper formations and the like...

as i have neither the time, patience, nor sheer number of paints that it seems to do a massive project like that well,
i figured i\'d just throw it out there for whoever liked it..

Great idea. But, I\'m sorry to break it to you... it has already been done... I\'ve seen at least two... entered in golden demon competitions. One pair playing warhammer, and one playing chess, if I\'m not mistaking. Nevertheless a very creative idea. Look at it from the bright side: it only been done twice! In contrary to for example the fianna\'s from Rackham. (uhm, that sounds strange, I mean of course painting those miniatures)

Well they DO look \"rode hard and put away wet\" lol

So what did these intrepid mini painters use to make a scale WH table? I mean, at that scale the \"mini-minis\" would be only about 1 mm tall! Even tanks would only be the size of a bit of sprue.

...I have now been sitting here for about 12 minutes and have not yet been able to think of ANYTHING appropriate to say. I am, however, pretty sure that, disturbing as the image may be, some japanese wargaming freak has already drawn a sixty page Confrontation hentai stuffing anything female full of tentacle and has already been told by some other sweaty Japanese guys how great it is.
NSA, you shall be cursed for creating that image in my head!

Ahem. Yeah, I had the same idea quite some time ago (the one with the miniatures, not the tentacle one) but abandoned it because the laws of physics were against me (I am constantly trying to become a system that does not use more energy than necessary). Or, in other words, I\'m a lazy bastard who decided that would have been too much work :D

Well, my first thought was: \"This must be some kind of a record\" :D but then I noticed the word \"appropriate\" and my thoughts changed to: \"Huh. He must be turning over a new leaf; waiting for something \"appropriate\" to say. :p:D:p
Glad to see it didn\'t hold you back too long. Thanks for just adding to the wonderful imagery NSA started ;)

The chess diorama is amazing! :eek:
How did he/she do that? Are the chess pieces sculpted?

Edit: my lonely brain cell just did some thought; they\'re probably Epic miniatures.

Yeah Epic minis. The one I saw in Warhammer World were Warmaster so they looked like proper old fashioned chess pieces.


I may copy the idea of the two playing a game of warhammer though. How long until GD?
