Questions about NW vows

Hi all; I have all NW units except conscripts - tied up in a pre-order - not played yet as I'm still updating my cards.
Okay, I know you can attach vows to Brothers, Veterans, and (now) Conscripts, and NOT to Ghost (a no brainer?)
What I 've never understood was whether vows can be attached to Ranger and Builder units or not?
Can someone please enlighten me on this point - thanks

Hi Jeffrey, welcome to the boards! Just for your future reference, there's a dedicated sub-forum for rules questions, so feel free to throw them there in the future.

To your question: The only requirement to attaching a vow is that it must be attached to a Night's Watch unit. So *any* NW unit can have them, including war machines. And yes, this includes Ghost.

Serbaelish; many thanks for your fast response! I will keep in mind the idea of the rules questions area in future.
Ah, as for Ghost though, I 'm looking at the printed out V1.5 card as I write this. They added "UNINITIATED This unit cannot attach Vows." As I said, I've been updating all the applicable cards. I haven't even started doing any of the Free Folk cards yet, and I've already got how much into ink and laminating, not to mention 1000's of hours of time invested. Are you sticking with the V1.0 cards?

100% correct on Ghost. That’s what I get for not double-checking the card...

Completely sympathize about the cards, as I also like to print out the updated versions.

Have you downloaded the War Council app? That’s a way to always have the latest version on hand (as it were). And if you print out your army list, it has so all the relevant info you’ll need for an engagement.

There’s been a lot of clamor for printed, updated card packs. There’s been no call on that, as of yet.

True enough from what I've read on this and the BGG forum as well. I have the app, and it has its good points, but would rather have the proper cards on the table where they should be during a battle!
