Haha, its ok, blue space marines have a bad name round some parts.
Where you from anyway?
For ice blue and deep red I would, personally, start on a white undercoat, then work your qaurter lines out in black, and fill in the bits for the red, then go for a red gore shade, working your way up to a lighter shade, then ink it back down to where you want.
For the ice blue, I forget the actual colour in the GW range, but there is an ice blue shade floating around, and Id say to dry brush the blue from the middle out, to get the shade of the white coming through at the edge of the box.
