Hi Di Ho!

Can anyone help interpreting those figures...?... Why is there such a huge Gap (The Gap is from June 1st, 2010 - January 23, 2011...) and what does that big drop (The Drop is at August 16th, 2012...) mean? Maybe anyone remembers Events like Changing of the Server or Downtime back then? I´m asking just out of curiosity... Many thanks in advance...^-^...

Edit: I also wonder how accurate the data is... How does the Website get informations like Ethnicity, Income and Education?? That´s pretty weird...

You're talking about the June 2010 - January 2011 gap? Or the sudden cliff at August 2011?

Either way, I'd wager it was changes to the website which caused Quantcast to have a philosophical change of how they count "views". Maybe the page layout changed, and it took time to refind all the pages they were counting. Or, something to that effect.

I think if it were changes in the viewership at CMON, it would have been a much more gradual decline.

Yes, sorry, should have been more precise... The Gap is from June 1st, 2010 - January 23, 2011... The Drop is at August 16th, 2012... ... And I also figured that it has not to do with the actual traffic on the Website, but rather on somehow changed measuring techniques... Still, interesting to see somehow...

People spent all of their money at gencon during the summer then knew they had to stay away or be tempted to buy more. As far as 2012 goes everyone has tightened their belts but then jumped onto the kickstarters so they really have no money felt and don't want to be tempted
