Hi all, been a while.
Quite some time ago I had the \'brilliant\' idea of adding some loincloths to all of my Space Marines. With my sculpting skill still in it\'s wee infancy (barely up to toddler now), I thought I might need some sort of removable backing between each marines legs to provide support for the sculpt of the loincloth.
Since I had plenty of SuperSculpy clay on hand, I thought I\'d give that a try and jammed quite a bit between the legs.
This, of course, creeped into cracks and crevices of the model.
I was never able to finish the project and have since gone a different direction with my marines.
Now to remove the sculpy....yeah... that didn\'t go well... anyone have any idea how to safely* remove sculpy from a plastic model? ???
*I said \"safely\" because not only will it not come off the mini, but it also seems to be slightly toxic and has softened and warped the plastic quite a bit... removing some finer details and generally turning the piece to a bit of a blob where-ever the sculpy touched. :flame:
