At our gaming club it has long been the tradition to buy each other gifts as the illustrous time of our birth is celebrated. Usually this will be a box set or model that we need or don\'t have. Now we have been together as a group for years and as such now have most of what we need/want. Also a lot of the armies we do are being remade. The guy who\'s birthday it is plays Eldar and we\'re a bit unsure of whether we should get him anything or just give him vouchers and wait

Any better ideas?

Or maybe some kind of terrain piece.

If you play cityfight games, you could make him some Eldar themed strategem counters

Cheers

@KingM we haven\'t started playing cityfight but that is a good idea i\'m playing with making resin faith counters for my wife\'s SoB army so not hard to make Eldar one\'s too

@James already got it but i agree that is a beaut of a model i especially liked the conversion they had on the GD website!

as a good portion of there models are changing i would wait.

depending on how many people you have got buying him gifts, you could all chip in for the eldar army set when it becomes available (end october start of november)

i think he would wait for a gift like that.

Hmm good idea and i was thinking of making a representative thing to go with that something like a small diorama that says \"waiting for the rest\" with a lone guardian hiding in a fox hole.

I like it!

As an eldar player myself, I\'d be happy to wait for the new releases.

Well, not exactly happy, more like \"why is it taking so long, GW is just tormenting me\". But I\'d prefer getting the new stuff, especially as so much is going to change if the rumours going around are anything to go by.

The Guardian in the foxhole as a placeholder however is a great plan. If you make it terrain sized, then you can use it in game play as well.
