I dont mean to nit pick but im reading the Horus Heresy books, the first one to be exact. But if these are meant to be pre-heresy and therefore from the Luna Wolves shouldnt they be white?? I might be wrong most likly i am but just a thought. The models arre looking good though!!

Yes, or pale green. Not black, that\'s for sure.

They look pretty good, though its difficult to see some of the detail because of the way you photographed them.

I look forward to seeing them finished.

PS. Though the Luna Wolves generally wore white; the elite of the First Company, the Justaerin led by Abaddon, wore jet black terminator armour.

In all honesty though, I think the only reason for this was so that Dan Abnett could put in the line about them looking like \"some other, black Legion\". Good one Dan...

As far as i know, Luna wolfs changed name to sons of Horus and started wearing black with gold rims. May be wrong tho.

The Justeirin always wore black armour.

The Luna wolves only changed from white to green after becoming The sons of Horus

Yeah that got me in the other thread. Damn Workshop making things up as they go along lol Originally they only became black after the failed attempt by the other Legions to clone Horus. I have to say though they are looking nice and beefy just like termies should

Yeah, after the death of horus they changed to black armour, as they couldnt really be the sons of horus anymore,and the breakup of the legion, most of whom ended up under abaddons command, becoming the black legion.

Also cause Abaddon was pretty pissed that Horus had failed, and got all mental and a bit carried away with it all

Yes, the legion itself changed colors, but the Justaerins of the 1:st company\'s armor was black even when they were Luna Wolves

And further, Abaddon really doesn\'t start wearing Termie armor until right before the heresy.
