Hey guys, thought I would share these guys with you since I\'ve been putting it off for sooooo long. A friend of mine asked me a long time ago to paint up his Praetorian guard and gave me a box of the buggers. Well I\'ve finally gotten around to finishing them off.
They aren\'t the most beautiful work but it did only take me 20 hours for the whole lot. They look good for the table top and they do the models enough justice that I am happy with the finish. I especially like the way the colour scheme worked out, the gold, white and black worked well.
Here\'s some pics:
And when I finished I realised the bases were almost the same as this guys:
These were finished off using the GW washes to add depth, I didn\'t do a lot of highlight to these, mainly to re-brighten the whites and the flesh tones (which are still a bit dark). But other than that I didn\'t spend hours getting them right - I just made sure they were finished and decent enough.
