The website at www.coolminiornot.com contains elements from the site postwarvandal.com, which appears to host malware – software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent. Just visiting a site that contains malware can infect your computer.

When i click on various links including links to photos from the forum i get this message from googlechrome/AVG safesearch.

Anyone else?

right, its been happening alot, but not always in the same place. I was getting it when clicking the photo links in the rever titan weapon mounting thread in painting and conversions...its not happening there at the moment, but i just got it when following http://www.coolminiornot.com/forums/showthread.php?32541-FW-Space-Marine this link from somebodys sig. It looks like somebody is slipping these past in ads or something.

edit-
and now it is not happening at that link and appearing elsewhere.

edit- its not just photos but whole threads sometimes.

It looks like that thread is linking images from postwarvandal.com, which is a blog that's been hacked. The images themselves appear to be benign, but I wouldn't visit the site.

Postwarvandal is the domain I rent. I use it as file storage for all my 2D and 3D projects as well as my miniature painting. It also hosted two minor websites. one with a gallery of my 3D stuff (www.postwarvandal.com) and one as a sort of private blog for me and my mates for our pen & paper rpg stuff.

One of my sites got hacked, once, and immediately got blacklisted even though no malware was ever spread by my domain. And the file storage section was never breached. Nevertheless, the google-nazi's decided to blacklist it immediately. A few weeks ago I deleted all the websites to get rid of any trace of the hacking and requested google for a site review. And a short while later the site got cleared by google again.

Sorry for the hassle folks. but just to confirm; there never was any risk.
