Is there a shop that sells Pokemon minis? (something catered to what we do?)

I feel like painting something nostalgic

There's these for the Pokethulhu RPG. They are OOP, but you can find them around sometimes. Here's an Ebay link.

I'd say strip and prime the prepaints.

Yeah, there are so many in the toy stores (painted) that they're often on sale and/or in the bargain bin (so you can look for that and repaint them for a cheaper price). There are so many versions of them as well, different materials, different sizes, one pose or articulation, etc.

Of course, if you know anyone with kids, you can probably get your hands on more than few "pre=-loved" toy figures as well (usually for free or really cheap or a trade).

Er, yeah, but we knew that. My son just now is playing his first DS Pokemon game, so if that makes you feel not old... I guess that makes you feel not old. Not sure where I was trying to go with that.

I got nicely surprized yesterday having lunch with my former boss (*) who thought I was only 48!
Brightened my afternoon up no end.

(*We were meeting up so he could show off pictures of his New Daughter AVA only 8 days old......Yes I do the ahhhhh thing over babies I'm not all that much of a grumpy bastard!)
