Hi,

I started this thread about finding colours to help me work through examples in a book

http://www.coolminiornot.com/forums...ary-and-secondary-colours&p=650705#post650705

but it turned out that the book is not good source of info after all. I do however still have the urge to read a book on the theory of colour.

I basicaly want to have a good understandting of how to work with paints to acheive the colours that are in my head and not limit myself to using pre mixes for everything. I am happy to tweak pre mixes though I would just like to understand more about how to do this, so a feel a good grounding in colour theory and mixing paint is the place to start.

I have looked a few titles on the amazon but thet all seem to have a couple of negative comments so it is hard to find a suitable title.

Please could you remomend a book that has helped and maybe a reason wy it is good.

Thanks.

Haha MiJ, you brush licking stalker =P

The site recommended in the thread I started has been incredibly interesting. I haven't even gotten to the color stuff yet, but I trust the author to be building toward something worthwhile.
