A reasonable range of colours available in satin and matt finishes. Ideal for bulk basecoating your armies main colour.

Cheap as chips compared to most other options.

If used carefully, you will obtain a solid base colour that does not obscure detail and allows brighter colours to be used much more effectively. Yellows, oranges and reds particularly.

The paint also gives a greater durability to the finished paint job.

i use the plastikote black for my larger models, (baneblades and the like) Their gloss varnish is great but i found thier satin and matt\'s arnt too good. But for smaller stuff i go to Halfords and get thier own brand primer. The grey primer is fantastic, fast dry and smooth.

not a fan of the plasticote myself - love the halfords grey primer though - use it all the time now
