Plastic Bottles for Future Mix?

Thought this would be a good place to post. I\'m currently thinking about selling Future Wax packaged into smaller bottles for miniature painters after all the trouble I\'ve had trying to get it in the U.K. I\'m currently looking at what bottles to use for them. Something to make it easy to dispence and the like. I could do with a few others for my various mixtures of things to help me out too (E.g. washing liquid, watered down P.V.A. etc). What ideas do people have?

The art store here sells empty plastic bottles in a number of sizes... they must get them somewhere...

Try food service or scientific equipment companies online. Both might have small plastic dispensing/sample bottle that could work. Or just google \"plasticware wholesale\". The downside is that you might end up paying like a buck a container unless you buy a zillion of them.

Doh! Stupid me only just checked out eBay. Tonnes of different types. Another question though. Would a screw top bottle be ok or would a different type of top be preferable? If not used the stuff yet myself so I\'m unsure.

Not to rain on your commercial aspirations but what about Kleer? :)

I had loads of problems finding the stuff :) Got some eventually. I\'ll most likely just add it to my existing store anyway :)

Don\'t know about over in Europe, but over here, Western Plastics is the place to buy bottles. Same (or very close) as Vellajo at about 4 for a buck.

I wish you the very best of luck with your idea, but as others have said \"Future\" under its UK name of Kleer is readily available - I bought mine at Sainsburys.

True, I have bought enough in one bottle to last several lifetimes but it is so cheap and can also be used, apparently, for cleaning floors.

As for the bottles...if you can\'t find them on Ebay then no one makes them...

Also sand is readily available but GW sell small packets of sand at the same price of the diamonds ;)

BTW I also have bought a couple of bottles of Kleer at Sainsburys in my last trip in London ;)

Now, if you were to pre-thin it with water and call it \"Super paint thinning flow aid\" or something even more clever, and sell it for a couple of bucks a bottle, you may be on to something.

Knew a guy that took 55 gallon barrels of Marvel Mystery Oil and rebottled it in 2 oz. bottles as Dave\'s After Run Engine Oil for model airplanes. Pays his mortgage and keeps him flying his toys.

Add a drop of detergent to the bottle, and you can call it \"Super paint thinning flow aid - now with added Flow-Ease\". :duh:

I\'ll call it \'Wonder Paint Mix\' and travel the country selling it so that no one can track me down :)

lol And we can make a play and then a movie out of your story: \"The Mini Man\"

\"76 Bretonians led the big parade
110 Khorne-ettes right behind...\"
(in my best Robert Preston voice)

Somehow I think that \"flow aid\" and \"Lo-Cal\" shouldn\'t really go together. :moon:

But why not ?????? Look how many people here lick their brushes :D

In that case, maybe you should include a bit of that berry syrup they use at thecoffee shops. Then it would taste nice even if it did leave your minis a bit sticky.

I\'d heard rumours to this effect but I discounted them as merely wishful thinking - three or four uses for one product? Nah, don\'t buy it :D

But only after the first product has been out for a while - that way you can promote it as an added extra, with a built-in reason for charging more. It\'s not like we haven\'t seen this exact thing in various guises - Gold Box series anyone?
