Plaster Plinth/Base - WIP

I'm in the process of redoing and repainting a Dragomira 0-3 from AT-43
I've done a plaster base in the past but I'm trying something a little more elaborate here.

The piece is 2 inches by 2 inches by 3 inches tall.
Now to start painting. I'm leaning towards painting the wall with Soviet style propaganda posters/murals but wash out and war torn.

looks great but why is there a façade of breeze blocks over normal bricks?

Why wouldn't there be? Does it have to be block or stone?
Marble veneer over brick, I've seen it before and it looks cool.:wink:

at that depth it's more like a render with a block pattern scribed into it, quite common actually
