Hi, I thought I might post up a link to the Chaos Troll I recently did for the Australian Golden Demon comp and (fingers crossed) get some feedback and comments.
I used the standard plastic troll out of the boxed game and added an extra pair of arms (using Ork Nob arms and old genestealer hands) as well as doing a bit of green stuff warts/rocks and a horn. The base is made from the Dwarf walls/barricades from the same box and I used milluput for the rocks.
Everyone who saw it at GD apparently commented that it was a large departure from what I normally do (colour-wise anyway) and I have to agree. The photo on my gallery is taken from the official GW website and cropped and whilst a nice photo, doesn't capture some of the colour nuances in the recesses of the flesh where I blended from red gore up with vallejo Oxford Blue and space wolf grey. So as a result I have attached another photo taken on the day by someone through the cabinets. It's a little blurry, but the colours are a bit clearer than the GW pic.
