I'm thinking about starting up a new space marine army, and I was wondering if any of you know of any manufactures that make 28mm "space marine-esque" type models, such as captains, librarians etc.

I have tons of GW stuff already for a full army, i just want it to pop a little. also if anyone knows of any bits manufacturers for shoulders, heads etc would help a lot as well. Thanks in advance

Seems a bone of contention...there are a few companies that do that sort of thing, but there seems to be some legal issues that have arisen because of it.

You aren't a secret GW IP policeman are you?

lol not at all, as I said, i have no issue blowing entire paychecks on GW product, I'm just an awful sculpter, and unless i'm doing conversions for orks (my main army) i'm not that great at it. i'm not looking to save money by buying 3rd party stuff, and I dont want recasts. i'm just looking for a few unique models or conversion bitz i can add to the army to make it a little more "one of a kind" :D if this doesnt work i may just commission someone to sculpt a hero for my army, although i'm not sure how prices range for stuff like that. Thought this might be easier

i personally wouldnt recommend scibor's stuff, it's got a terrible finish imo, like he can't be bothered to complete the sculpt and just rushes
