paypal problems

is anyone else having paypal problems?
i try to pay for an item i won and it tells me to fill out my credit cards details (again) and then when iv finished tells me iv already filled them out and i cant do anything else.
any advice????

cancel your card mate.

paypal will never tell you to fill out your details to make a payment.

you will at the most have to provide an amount you are paying, the email address of the recipient and what the payment is for.

You\'ve cancelled your credit card too, right? It\'s not the compromised PayPal account you need to worry about, it\'s the credit card.

too true may seem an inconvenience now but will save a whole world of pain later...Fraudsters don\'t always use the details straight away they can wait months knowing you will be watching your statements like a hawk....

Well if you were in Pay Pals system and the problems were occuring then it was probably a glich with pay pal and your fine. Id call you CC company and ask them to put a watch on your account just incase.

On the other hand if you get emails that look like they are from PayPal saying dear user or dear member NEVER I mean NEVER answer them and delete them right away. PayPal will only contact you with the name you signed up the account with and will never ask for any details like CC numbers or any personal information via a email.

Take it from me, being frauded through paypal is a pain in the arse to get corrected. It took me almost three months, 20 hours on the phone and a dozen faxs to get things corrected. So listen to what they are saying, contact your CC company just to be safe.
