Looks like Guillermo Del Toro has done something pretty special here. Hoping it will be up there with movies like The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth in that cool, fantasy, fairy tale kind of way.

I saw the trailer mindlesly zoning in front of the tube the other day! I did indeed sit up and take due note sah!
Looks really good, and i shall pay a shiny penny to the cinomatograph operator when time is due! :]

Right, I\'ll thredomance this myself to say that I finally watched it just before they stopped showing it at the cinemas nearby and it\'s fookin quality.

It\'s a shame that the gate was slightly open on the projector and leaking light out during the whole film, and that for about 30 minutes the sound corrupted completely, going really tinny, but even with these issues it managed to make me cry. Not that that\'s completely uncommon, I\'m rather pathetic when it comes to weeping at movies these days for some reason, but all in all really bloody good.

If you haven\'t watched it and can still catch it rush out now and see it!

And I also have a free ticket to see another film to because I complained.

O RLY? That\'s frickin\' sweet. He could do it well, too, I think. I liked the Shoggoth in \"Hellboy\".

Best film I\'ve seen since Oldboy and by far and away the best original fantasy flick for decades I reckon.

I read somewhere that someone is doing a sequel to Dark Crystal. Also sounds like a Fraggle Rock movie is in the works for 2008.

I read it in the Wizard magazine movie special out last month. They said that some parties in HW were working the script.
