Hello,

Just wondering if someone can share some tips to get a very pale flesh (almost greyish) flesh like Alexi Z\'s Toxic:

I tried searching for some tips in past posts, but usually those deal with pale \"normal\" flesh. thanks!

You can use all sorts of colours to get manky looking flesh.

Start with a light base colour, for example Pale Flesh or Dead Flesh. Wash/glaze back with darker blue/grey/green/purple. Highlight back up to your pale flesh tone. I like to apply all of these colours in patches to make the mini look really ill.

Do a search on driz bust. I cant remeber the guys name but its something like \"the painting guy\" On his web site is a step by step ont the bust that will give you the colors you are looking for. If I find the link I\'ll post it for you.

Undead flesh is one of the most common things I paint. As such, I\'ve got a ton of different recipes (which is good, since no two corpses should really be the same...).

But, rather than go on about it, I\'ll point you to a really well done article on exactly that subject over at BrushThralls.com

This particular article includes some hints on how Aly McVey did the dead flesh for some of the Privateer Press Mechanithralls.

Hope this helps.
