well after being on a reletively productive painting spree ((i hope to have pics up this weekend)) i have a question...how do i shade and highlight a warm white? i use a mix of brown and white for the main colour. how would i go about highlighting/shading this shade of white? ill try and get some pics up to show my progress this weekend. all depends if i can rent out a digi camera from school.

Use more brown with a touch of added blue or black for the shades. Try a mixture of white and an ochre colour* for the highlight colour. For any intermediary shades simple mixtures of the midtone and the highlight mix should work okay.

*Or a lighter, more orangey brown than you\'re using for the basic mix.
