Painting modeling groups in Los Angeles area?

Hi i\'m from southern california. I get together with some friends and paint/model I find it alot more fun then on my own. I was wondering if anyone knew of any painting/modeling groups in the los angeles area?

Hmm... not that I know of. Myself (obviously) and several other posters on these forums are in the greater metro LA area, but I haven\'t been aware of any group painting get-togethers going on out here. For me it\'s a little tough as I work a night-shift job; I wouldn\'t necessarily be opposed to the idea of a painting group but would find it hard to match my schedule to that of others.
