Painting competions

I recently attended uk golden deamon 2012 however I'm now very impatient waiting a whole year to enter some minis again so I was wondering is anyone knows of any good uk based miniture painting competitions I could attend, I'd most appreciate any information for this.

Salute is in April and the standard there is very high. It has a good range of categories too and you can enter minis from any manufacturer. I'd certainly recommend it. There are also a ton of different online competitions. The ones on WAMP are cool and usually have some prizes tied in.
