ok, i felt i had to share this tip.
instead of using different solutions to remove paint from models (taking lots of time, not removing all paint, not for plastics etc etc) me and my co-workers found out what happens when you take an ultrasonic bath and put a painted model in it for 15 minutes.
it gets very clean.
we only used models painted with GW colours. the ones primed black were totally clean and the ones primed whit just went back to the white basecoat.
now i know that a piece of equipment like this isnt very cheap or all that common in a normal household, although i know of several guys who carry glasses who use them to clean the lenses.
it can be used on (this is what we tried) plastics, metal and green stuff without any drawbacks.
