Paint Advice For IKW/GW

I\'ve just gotten back in the country after a year in Russia and Europe and, surprise, surprise, I want to start painting again! A quick trip down to the LGS later and I\'ve been sucked into the Warmachine mania sweeping the store. Since I got rid of most of my paints before I left last summer, I think I might go Vallejo right from the start this time (but I\'ll likely stick with GW metallics). I\'ve decided to play Khador in Warmachine and I have a sizeable Ork army for Warhammer 40K. So here\'s my question(s):

Game Color or Model Color? I\'ve heard Model \"integrates\" better with GW paints and since most of my models are mostly painted with GW paints, is this a better choice?

Second, until I can convince myself to drop $150+ on a full 72-pot set, are there are any good sets to pick up for \"basics\" and for, as mentioned above, Khador and Orks?

I\'m looking to spend around $100 on paint right off the bat, although I\'ll likely buy both of the full sets within the next six months or so.

ok.. gw and game color is the same thing... exept for the quality and bottles.

i think you should go with vallejo game color if you are used to the gw line.
But if you want to try something new you should buy model color..

Thanks for posting the link to the equivalency chart. For \"personal reasons,\" shall we say, I\'d like to give Games Workshop as little business as possible. :]

I\'ve been reading Brushthralls tutorials most of the evening and have a pretty good idea on the paint list I need to purchase for the near future, and I\'m sure I can fill in the blanks for the Orks using the chart.
