this link is for the article section, it\'s very usefull.
unfortunately it means you have to find the articles your after by looking.

google is also usefull.

i don\'t mean to be a twat but you ask for links etc every day and just a little searching would answer most of your questions without you needing to ask them.

this smiley means i\'m not mad at you :)

yeah, and advise I can give you is when you are painting the OSL, use glazing, it will look more realistic that way :)

Granddad!
and when you paint the fire the hottest (whitest!) part is in the middle, not the ends of the flames

Check Shawn\'s gallery (you\'ll have to look it up). There\'s a thread floating around here from him on OSL too.

Also, search Zinthil (sp?) priming. Basicly using black primer, then priming with white from the direction of the light sourse to give you a sense of where the highlights should go.

Good starting place. Also read the OSL article then post some WIP\'s in the OSL thread. IT should be near this thread.

well im doing the mini in a long time but I just want to get a good idea how to do it.

iv also tried doing it on METALLICS not nmm and I think it looks ok.

it appears everyone knows what \"OSL\" means but me. Could someone enlighten me please

At a guess, is it something to do with where light hits a model if a light is present on the mini? for example a candle? or explosion perhaps?

OR im wrong and need help

Cheers guys n gals

OSL = object source lighting (ie. a source of light from anything other than natural daylight, such as a fiery torch, magic wand, gun fire etc..)
