Orky Project \"Space Woofs\"

Someone bought a black reach box the toehr day to convert the marines into space wolves and gave me the Orks for 20 bucks. I figured I\'d do the same. Space Woofs!

They look quite well especially for the big boss, just you should highlight a bit more the metalsonit but I don\'t think is is finished. Keep painting them and the pics here cause they\'re on a good way.

Ditto all that! Orange hair on the one? And any plans on making some sort of Orkie wolf company marking?

Actually I like the oily metal look so I probably won\'t hilight it anymore.

The skintones are Catachan green > Camo green > Bubonic brown > Bleached bone. I wanted em a little more yellow than normal orks since I figgured a snowy world mignt not get a ton of sun so I went with a more \"Wilted\" color. Also, I really hate the bright gobling green orks I see so much.

I actually tried using Yellow as my accent color on armor and stuff like space wolves have but with the yellowy-green skin it just turned out annoying and a little bland.

Topknot on the nob is actually painted orange.

I should have some pics up either today or tomorrow of the nobs and a dethcopta I\'ve started on.

i also like the looks but a few edge highlights would really help it pop

Weather's kinda kept me form sealing or having enough light to take good pictures the past few days. I decided to go ahead and photo today. I'll take better pictures when I have better conditions.

One nob got a scrath built power claw added and an arm made of greenstuff, as well as an Orky space-woof bosspole. The rest is just painted the rest for the most part, made sure to hand out orange hair where I could.

these are my next project. I just wanted to post them to show the melty snow bases. I think I'm going to convert them to have buzz-saws like the forgeworld biker boss. I jsut noticed the one on the left looks like there's a breast cancer awareness symbol drawn in the snow.

PS, I did go back and highlight the boss. Pics later, I promise. I'm thinking of entering him and the converted Nob in my local GW store's painting/conversion contest for this halloween

there they are cleaned up. the scratchbuilt powerclaw/arm guy is going into a conversion contest this sat, and the warboss is going into the painting comp.

So I entered my warboss into the local GW store's haloween painting comp and won some fantasy collectors Animosity orcs. I started converting them because nwo that I have a couple of units put together I can start doing the fun stuff. Conversions.

So here's the wierdboy I've been working on. I still need to add another shoulder pad and some decorations, finish his wierdboy stick, and make the night goblins look like bad mechanicus.
