Ork Warboss

This guy was an adventure in it\'s own. First off I have to mention that before painting this guy I didn\'t really like painting Orks, especially the space ones. Now thinking about it, I think the one thing I got out of it is to appreciate the endless possibilities of what can be done with them as far as painting and conversions go. As far as the painting itself goes, I wasn\'t going for anything special with him just another excuse to practice my metallics. I started painted this a few months back and after getting frustrated with it I set it aside. Couple of days ago I realized how little was left to do before he was finished so I figured I might as well get him done. Hope you guys like it!

Ah fine orc boss over here... like the metals a lot but really... give the eyes a try... it\'s worth it in the end...

Keep on happy painting!

He\'s got eyes. :) It\'s hard to tell because of how overpowering the brows are. The way it is sculpted it\'s a bit hard to determine where the eyes should be and if the pic isn\'t taken at exactly the right angle it\'s hard to tell they are even there.

You can see the eyeballs. I think most who\'ve painted this model just sort of treat the eyelids as part of the eyeball.

It\'s good, but as the above posters point out, you have to search for the eyes. That\'s probably not good! Maybe go for some turqoise around the eye and on the eyelid to draw people to the red of the eye? They did a walk through on a well painted boss in a WD an issue or two back. Well done!

Thanks for the comments guys! This will be my last \"rushed for eBay\" mini, just because I feel that I am burning through minis too quickly to learn or improve on anything.

I\'ve got a few projects lined up in between commissions now that I will be sure to take my time on. Some will still end up on eBay but others I will be doing for my own collection.
