Ork truck revisited

Sometimes ago, I bought my first ork truck in a GW store, and honestly choosing was hard: I get the big guy or the basic truck?
In the end I bought the small guy, and decided to build my own in a real self built BIG ORK TRUCK. Thought and done!!!! I bought myself one of those chinese toys, a blue 4x4! Plasticard of all sizes and types, and started cutting and glueing!!! In the end it all came easy and clear. Once I was done, it looked awesome and I couldn't wait to paint it. Took almost a year time to put hands on the truck, and finally I did. 12 hours of painting in three days and here it is. Hope you guys like it as much as I do!!!!

Guys, I see a lot of visits and no comments, please feel free to let your thoughts out, I'd apreciate some critics, either positive or negative! I'm going to add some details to this vehicle, but i'll post pics when it'll all be done. Please comment guys!

Looks like a good orky construction. I think I need feedback from you for my orky stuff! However I'd say its a bit too large to use as a truck in the game. Painting wise I think you need some other colour/colours to break up all that nicely done weathered rusty red. Evils sunz use flame motif so maybe something along those lines, or even just some ork glyphs, but maybe this is what you plan to add.

Very nice - I don't play so can't comment on whether it'd be usable or not, though it does look big. The only thing I'd say critically to my eye is that the tyres, though dirtied nicely look new in shape and form - compared to the worn, haggard, weathered look of the rest of the truck.

Love the shovelly thing on the front and the gunner ork 'podule' :)

Thanks for comments guys. Let's start from the beginning: I intentionally did not give glifs or fire paintings to the truck cause I did not want it to look like all those GW trucks nicely painted, although usually, as background, Orks do put them on their vehicles.
Yes, it is quite big, 12 inches from back to front, and 4 or 5 large. Let's say it attracts a grab amount of fire and usual never lasts more than the second turn. I THOUGHT TOO BIG!!!!!
Tires: yes they need to be worked on, everyone keeps telling me the same thing. I guess my idea of having the truck actually move on it's tires wasn't good enough! As for body work I'll be adding some gretchkins here and there, but I'll have to paint them first! Still haven't finished the claw, but I have a project also on a big cannon to put on there as well. Still I'm thinking too big!
Tell you what...I'll get the tires fixed as soon as I get a chance, and I'll finish the small guys too!
keep posting guys thanks!

It is this big cause I meant to build a Battlewagon, and DRYAD, it would be nice to discuss ideas on how to modify or scratch build orky stuff with you!

Overall I'd say its orky. I dont know that I'd go the glyph route, but it does need something - Kill marks or something. As for it being too big I dont think so - and if its a fire magnet increase the armor and add more Dakka!

Wheels actually do move, and the back ones have a mechanism that keeps them spinning forward once you push the vehicle! As for glifs, I guess I'll have to work on something, cause you are all saying the same so probably you guys are right! Still haven't worked on the gretchkins, but I will soon

That flat spot on the door begs for a score card - little picture of a Leman Russ and a scorecard, and so forth.

I really like this, but the tires kill it for me. If you could find some tires to better sell the illusion, I think it would make all the difference.

OMG all that great work and you didn't drill out the gun hole on the pistol? Still awesome and orky though!
