OOOh AAAAAh i\'ve heard about hrud, they sound wicked cool and ill bet their minis would look amazing. Being a skaven player myself I would think that would be awsome, never having played a one on one game with DE but smoking them (litteraly with flamers) in a mega battle :innocent:

The Hrud will not see the light of day more than likely . Squats have a better chance of comeing back as they have been renamed \"Demiurge\" and have BFG ships and rules.

Yes, but the Demiurg ships are forgeworld, not official GW, so they do not really prove any future plans for the race

You\'re right Dragonsreach I read somewhere that the Squat homeworld was in the path of one of the Tyranid Hive Fleets. The Squat homeworld was consumed and those Squats still remaining are those that weren\'t \"home\" when the Great Devourer came knocking.

Well its no secret Andy didn\'t like the squats. I reckon thats there is a reasonable chance we\'ll see \"squats\" in the form of demiurgs sometime in the next decade.

Come back in ten years time and we\'ll see whats happened...

This is too cool that squats could come back under the Tau empire- in fact a month before the rumors started a friend of mine converted his old squat army into just that. A hybrid between dwarf looking tech and Tau army list- came out awesome- I\'ll try to mooch some pics and post \'em. Hope more players run with that idea.

There will never be squats!!! God,m always the same discussion. the reason they were dropped is because they were imperial guardsmen in power armour, a mix between guard and marines, and didn\'t have anything really original about them. It\'s not chambers that hated them, as everyone seems to like to think, but the sales companies, as always, it was a marketing decision.
The Demiurge were a great idea, having seen some of the concept busts that Jes goodwin did of them, and some of ideas that came out of Games Dev, but last thing I heard, they were never approved by the sales side of GW. The Hrud are....well...skaven in space at the moment, and I doubt that they will ever see the light of day as that. IF they\'re going to be used, they\'ll be drastically different from that, because it\'s bad business to release two products so identical.
