I have tried to improve my photo\'s, but still not happy, will be buying a better lamp and light tent in the future.

Ok, what do you guys think of the jeans, do they look like jeans, with faded knees ?

Also until I get my new lighting set up, Is there anyway, using fireworks 8, to improve the photos ?

Also all other feedback welcome, be brutal, really want to push myself, thanks.

The jeans are great, how do you get that textured effect?
Your photos arnt to bad, pretty good actually, they show all of the detail, and thats what matters!

The effect on the jeans is done by thin white/blue lines, was hoping it would look textured and worked quited well i think.

the coat is a graveyard / codex grey mix, makes a mushroom colour, then I add bleach bone to the mix for the highlights and a tiny bit of black for the shades.

Looks great.
I think for it to look like faded jeans you need to stop the fading closer into the knees. In fact, since the wear on knees happens when the knees are bent, when straight the fade centers below the knee cap. Don\'t need to be that technical in a mini of course, but if you want it to look like fading rather than natural highlights you should have it go dark much sooner.

when painting jeans i like to crosshatch, rather than just making horizontal or vertical lines alone. a little brown dirtyness helps pull it off too.

Looking cool so far, Bob has really done the business on these fellas (just need the big old fat boy to go with them)

Fascinated by the shades though, but can\'t really see them here. Are you going to do mirrored ones. I would love to know the technique if you are.

He looks great. If you really want him to look Texan, stick a huge belt buckle on him! If we could see the back of his jeans, he would also have a circular faded patch in one of the back pockets for his can of Skoal or Copenhagen tobacco.
