Old School Fanatics

Well, these are my new recently painted minis:

I bought these gobbers on e-bay for about £1 (€1,5 or $2). A real bargain!

Not my best paintjob, but VERY cool minis if you ask me. I especially like the \'scratch-built\' toadstools on the base and the warts on the goblins.

The highlights on the black robes don\'t really show on the picture, I\'ve highlighted them from \"Chaos Black\" up to \"Codex Grey\". The skin ranges from \"Dark Angels Green\" up to \"Putrid Green\". A shame they don\'t make that last color any more.

I also like these fellas better than the current edition ones, these look far more cartoonish (what I think Orcs and Goblins should be like). The ones from the 7th edition I like even more... waiting to get my hands on them :).

What do you guys and gals think?

As always, comments and votes are very appreciated (you can do that here).

Aww, they look so insane... :D

I like em, maybe work on a few more layers of green to make the transition more smooth. Other than that, they look great. Really nice bases as well :D

7 for painting, +1 for base +1 for keeping it oldschool! 9 baby!! :D

Fantastic

Nice! I like the blue tongues.

They look so much better than the newer versions.

I wish all of the old skool GW minis were still available in their stores. Oh well.

Good painting d00d!

I quite like the new plastics, they look one peice, but they aren\'t bad.

Also, those aren\'t old school, old school would be the pre-slotta base fanatics, I have a couple of those, really should get some pics taken.

Thanks a lot again for the comments guys!

@Trevor: I also rather like the new ones (check my opening). I do think these are Old School though. They date from somewhere in the mid eighties, and for someone born in 1982 that is definitely old school ;).
