I fondly remember fireflies from around there. That is a treat we dont have here in California. Can anyone confirm if the fireflies in Europe glow red. I was told this a long time ago and was always curious. Just a trivia question.

It\'s always said to fill a jar with them and you will have a sort of lantern. I just had a jar full of bugs that sat there and wouldnt light up. Little hosers.............
