Hello everyone. I have been browsing these forums for quite some time now, and as such found that it was time to write my own WIP thread as i finally got hold of a cam. (Disclaimer: Found that my cam wasnt super, so i am very sorry for the low quality pics)
I started a Ogre Kingdom army allmost a year ago, but work has been slow. Its painted in the colours of Khorne. Here is some pics of what i got so far. I know my style is very cartoony, but thats the way i have developed my painting skills, and as such im trying to pick up tips to also be ale to paint less crisp when needed. Tell me what you think.
2 Banners for my 2 Bull units.
And for my current project, Ogre Rhinox Thundrlord from Forgeworld. What do you think of the skin and fur? I went with a blend of grey/dark brown at the start, then going through earth and down to bone for the skin, as for the fur, its dark brown/grey blended through grey and down to bone. I think it looks pretty ok myself, but maby too crisp and clean, if so any tips on how to dirty it up a bit?
The pic shows maby 1/3 of the highlights compared to when you look at the model.
Geif better cam!
