I`ll post these guys officially on CMON but for now I wanted to show them off on here untill I get better pics.
These guys were painted for the Richmond VA RTT painting comp first off. I spend the entire night before the comp. painting up ogres for the
squad catagory only to be told that I could not enter them because
they had to be a squad of 5 or more which I never remember seeing. I
tried to look for a WD300 to re-check what I had read but they didn`t
have one in the store and his flyer said 5 or more. After getting home
I flip open my WD300 and of course there was nothing about 5 models or
more!!
This first guy is supposed to be a butcher since there were no models on the release. I got the defiler mask idea right away but took me some time to convert it up and paint it but as far as I can tell its the first. I just wanted to try and be original... Everyone can now feel free to copy it...
The Axe is made of plasticard and yes I know it looks way too big but it was my first time making such a thing....
Here is a group shot with 2 test models that I used to create a process of painting the entire army. I use an airbrush for the basecoating and larger highlights and then black line and do the minor details.
