Night of the Living Dead standalone questions

Not sure if this is the right place to post or not, but I didn't see a dedicated section for the new NotLD standalone Zombicide game.

1. Do duel wield weapons count as two separate attacks for damage, or one? For example, two uzis on a Fatty - is that two 1 pt damages (and thus, ignored) or one 2pt (killing it)?

2. Picking survivors. If the scene doesn't specify, can you chose whomever you want for the six? (And is it ways six?)

Thanks!

Nope, the 1 point damages are ignored the hits count as Two Damage 1 attacks to the zone. Essentially this means Fatties will protect the other walkers due to targeting priority for ranged fire. As far as survivors, they usually have a blurb in the rulebook about that unsure why it's not in this version. The difficulty ratings per scenario/scene seem to be all balanced on 6 survivors. You can easily use 4 for a more difficult challenge and use any survivors you choose.

Thanks for the help on the damage part.

Blurb for which? The main part of the question was in regards to the specific survivors. If the scenario doesn't specify (and most don't), can you pick whichever ones you want? I mean, that would make sense, otherwise the kickstarter-exclusive ones would never be used, but it doesn't seem to say for sure.

Your question was in 2 parts, so point 2 does not qualify for " the main part of the question". However, I will entertain..

I'm assuming you have no other copies of zombicide other than this one???? I own every thing zombicide ever produced. Every single rulebook give a blurb on playing with 4,5 or 6 players and even 6 or more.
The core game, which you own, is tested in the scenarios for 6. Use Six. The rules state dole out the survivors as you wish. That may mean an uneven number goes to a player depending on your player count.
The Scenarios are used with the 6 basic survivors in the base box. When you start adding additional survivors, in place of the others, still using 6. You obviously cant use more than 6 because the exclusive box doesn't come with dashboards.

I am completely clear on the number of survivors to use. I understand that part. I was asking for clarification on which survivors to use. I think you're saying that it doesn't matter if the scenario doesn't specifically call certain ones out by name. Again, only a couple of scenarios in this version of the game specify by name which ones to use.

The core game was is a stand alone product. The scenarios use all 6 survivors in the base box. You always have to treat the expansions as additional, use in place of. They also usually include some information on how to add the additional /exclusive/expansion items - - into the base box. This time they did not , they kinda dropped the ball on that one, and thus confusing a new player to the franchise.
