Surprized no one has commented as yet. we are usually such gobby crew.

A couple of things stand out because of the larger size of the image, the beard has a couple of \"bleeds\" where highlight colours have gone into the creases. There\'s a very large and clearly seen Hair embedded in the paint on the forward pointing arm, perhaps the highlights could be worked up a touch and some areas look as if the could use thinner paints, but nothing on it has the \"impasto\" look of overly thick paint.
And Lastly the seam line in very visible in the sleeve. Not an easy area to clean up due to the risk of losing the hand if you slip.

Overall a nice piece.

Very nice overall! :) Like the colours. Except for the thinks Dragonsreach mentioned I think the model would gain a lot by setting the face a part from the beard a bit more. This can be done with both lining around the face and changing the skin tone slightly, perhaps give it some more contrast a well.

Thanks for the advice. Sadly, I thought I had gotten the seam as it\'s not very visible on the model. As for the hair on the arm, all I can say is D\'oh! I set it down one night and when I came back the next day I noticed the hair but wasn\'t sure of how to get rid of it.

I\'ll definitely try to clean up the beard and set it off from his face. Thanks for the tips!

easy way to hide the mold line on the inside of the sleave is to paint it dark brown (black is too harsh)
it will also help it look a little more natural as well as that part wouldn\'t recieve much light.
