Would this be a possibility? Rather than put one out every couple weeks, do the whole line a la Reaper (the most successful miniatures kickstarter in so many ways, by a longshot)? I'm in for $1,000 the second it goes live.

For sure I want the stitched together Dwarfs Mid-Nor. these two are my Favourite minis if these or any Dwarf Mid-Kor were in a KS project I'd be there with Bells on.

Also loved their little puppet versions as well.

Yes please! Rackham must start one kickstarter. So far I still believe that it is one of (if not) the best miniature line for Fantasy. Amazing to paint, guiding your brush over the surfaces.
A kickstarter to start new phoenix edition, with a new miniatures line. And then I hope that Rackham will be better managed financially wise!
Let's hope for it!

Well, for their own sake, I hope they'll time it for next year, as between Reaper and Relic Knight, I assume lots of people in the miniature community burnt their disposable income until the end of the year.

I think it'd be perfect for the holidays. And there isn't much competition at the moment (unless you count Dreadball). But yeah, perhaps wait a few months or so, but I can imagine a Rackham kickstarter kicking even Reaper to the curb.

I think there would be a large amount of support behind a Confrontation KickStarter. It's a company with a cult following (for a good reason), which seems to be what works well on a platform like KickStarter. I know I would contribute a lot to something like that.

I definitely understand what was said earlier, jokingly, about 3 mini's for $1K. I don't like to pay a lot for any of my minis, but hopefully they would price everything right so people want to contribute. If a contribution of $100 get less than 10 minis, I have a feeling they won't get as much support.

2nd Bump cause this needs some loving... some one should set up a Facebook page and see if the fans could get over 1,000 likes maybe that might give them an incentive to consider this as a viable project but wait until after January please so my wallet can recover.

I think people'd vote with their wallets. Look at the Kingdom Death KS — Rackham/Confrontation would topple any record thus far.

Seriously, Legacy. Do something to help us help you. Have a website. Have a damn Facebook page. Anything, really-- this "post on the CMON forums and hope they see it" thing is bush league. It's absolutely ridiculous that you're the licensee and come off like a bootlegger, while Aarklash Chronicles *is* a bootlegger but looks to all the world like the official licensee.

@extropymine: I just had a look at the AArklash Chronicles and are you serious they are bootleggers? dam looks like a proper site and all nice and fancy. So "Legacy" owns the right to all Rackham products? and they have no site? no FB page? no Twitter account? nothing? do they even fight for their IP?

@extropymine: I just had a look at the AArklash Chronicles and are you serious they are bootleggers?
That's correct. They've re-casted most of the range but they're bootleggers. They also are producing new minis and concept art for the range without license. Which put a lot of us fans in a terrible position: they're doing a better job of keeping us excited than the actual licensee, and it's a constant struggle not to buy things from AC that are *still* not available from Legacy. It's a lousy situation and Aarklash Chronicles is eating Legacy's lunch.

obviously they aren't interested in protecting there IP like GW is.
seriously either they get the range fixed and release it or give the Aarklash Chronicles free range but just licence them to do it for a large fee.
Anything to get these minis out and into my hands.

Speaking as one of the long time die hard old guard followers it does disappoint given the position we are in similar to previous posters.

However on a reverse tread it must be noted that yes legacy seems to be hidden from the public (ie: no main website, FB, etc.) the current hold up on releases is due to phoenix coming up. They have heard the community and the cost for the miniatures and in my opinion are focusing more resources, man power, capital etc. on this endeavor because if done right will be significantly more productive and fortuitous for them. That said Black Ball games is doing the rule re-write/edit of the 3.0/3.5 rules currently and have been for some time.

Black ball games does have a facebook as well as a webpage. (webpage is meh at best, it is obvious they utilize their FB more) and also has the domain reserved for confrontation phoenix. The site for confrontation phoenix is "coming soon" and has been for months now. Matt from Black Ball games has commented on the dragonpainting.com forum that they are working extensively on getting the product out as soon as possible. That said he also commented that they are not looking to release a product not ready to be released just to have it out and sate the community. They apparently want to ensure they release a rock solid updated system for us and if that takes time so be it, i personally will wait as long as it takes for an amazing final product and with i believe damn near 1k sku's balancing and profile editing could certainly take a long time.

From reading what was being said about combat in the system as confirmed by Matt at Black Ball it is certainly different, streamlined, and will have to wait and see how the final product feels. In any event totally stoked and will just have to temper my excitement like the rest of us knowing that a kick starter is likely once it is ready to go as let on by BB and CMoN in previous posts/commentary somewhere i read a few months ago.

I'm glad someone involved with the project is talking out loud. I checked out BB's website (you're right on that one) and I'll have to head over to FB to see what's what over there. I still think they ought to at least release some WIP shots of greens or concept art from the forthcoming rulebook, but it's nice to know at the very least something is happening, even if it's largely behind the scenes.

EDIT: Huh, their FB page only talks about AEWWIII and has a slightly less than impressive 300 likes. Maybe we as a group can all like their page and make noises until they start talking more about Phoenix!
