New Wolf Dex?

Yeah Ive been hering about a new wolf dex from my local hobby store and I was wondering if anyone else has herd anything cause there is a gramatical errors and some bad rules and I just want things to be better for the Sons Of Russ

Yes, I\'ve heard but nothing about dates so probably towards the end of this year if its going to be this year.

What\'s the use of having a new books without new figures?

I hope the new models look good cause Im getting kinda tierd of the old ones I mean Ive been playing for like five years so I hope the new dex and mods look good

All still in the rumours phase, no concrete development afaik, so no sneak previews available... yet. ;)
But since I heard the regular SM Codex and IG will be among the first, and WH40K 5.0 is supposed to come out end of year-ish... early or mid-2009 at best.

The Space Marine Codex came out in 2004 and the last Space Wolf Codex came out in 2001. So I think that the Space Wolf will come out befor the Sapce Marine Codex and I think that the Imperial Guard Codex came out in 2003 so they should be next in line hopefully:D

Last time us guard players had to wait for years! And then what do they do to us? Change to 4th edition three months later! Making the codex invalid! No not this time! Someone else can get screwed this time!

The Guard can wait. The wolves have some bad rules like we dont have Terminator Honors, I mean come on. Our techmarine doesnt have blessing of the omnasia (He can fix exploded weapon and vheicle imobeleised on a role of six) Our librairan doesnt have a chioce in which skill he can take. I mean searously we need a new dex.

Bah! Bah, I tell you! And may I add, Humbug! Us daemonhunter players won\'t get a new codex. It\'s going to be lumped in with the rest of the Inquisition, and it appears it\'s being put back later and later, whilst in the meantime Chaos and their daemons are getting harder to deal with. Apparently the new Khorne daemons will get a 2+ save vs psychic powers, including force weapons.

Yeah! Leave my Guard alone, they work very nicely as they are thankyou very much. I wouldn\'t want to risk a repeat of what they did to the Chaos book :eek:

Alright alright Im sorry I didnt mena to seam like attacking your Deamonhunters and Imp Guard. I just would love to just get some new models it would be fun to model and paint then and see what I can do with GS and some new rules I just want ot see some changes thats all.

judging from what they\'ve done with the recent chapter reworks , the plastics work on things like those lions in the chariot and their crew and the overwhelming popularity of The wolves I think you can rest assured that when it does come it will be a good un....Anyways if they cock it up at all Vincenti will go round and kill them all.....

all these whiny guard players what about the poor Dark Eldar Players......They\'re coming up and as for the inquisition....Xenos Xenos ...... witch hunters and daemonhunters only got me excited because I couldn\'t wait to see what they did with those Lords of if it moves kill it , it\'s mother, it\'s children and it\'s whole damn planet....alien hunters....

Hey! Don\'t get me wrong. I\'d love to see a new Wolf dex. Got an army of them as well. It just would be nice not to be on the receiving again. I mean that the guard is the largest organization in the whole game and the possibilities are endless, both in fluff and rules. Demonherald from the sounds of things, Xenos has been placed on the back burner :( which is really a shame. They could add a lists for a couple xenos armies (something like the Adversaries list in the back of the Witchhunters codex). Think of the potential for Forge World.

What I don\'t like about he old Space Wolf Codex is that They can never teleport planet side. They hate flying, but htey come to a planet in a space ship.

Its makes no sense at all.
