As the last person running this is no longer active much on the forum i have offerd to take over running this. I will stick to the well proven system as before to keep things the same for everyone. For now i am just looking for names of people who are interested in taking part. If i get a decant number of people interested in this i will then go ahead and get the ball rolling.

Count me amongst those interested. Ive only done it once before but it was a lot of fun, and it would be a shame if the ME's were to disapear from these boards entirely

My aim is to keep them going. I may not run so many a year as id like to see some photos of these models being painted. The idea after all is to get them out of the draw and onto the painting table.

Count me in! I was just thinking about this yesterday and was going to see about arranging one, if you need any help give me a shout, I've done about 4-5 now.

How would you feel about running it together? It would be handy having someone whos done a few around.

Yeah sure that'd be a good idea sometimes it could do with two people looking after this, as it can get a bit manic. I think we should sort out dates etc first, then people can decide whether they can do it or not. I'll send you a pm with some details :)

I will put this out here so people can decide easier. Im looking at a week to see how many people are interested to start with. After the week i will post another thread that will serve as the main thread where people can sign up properly. This thread will also contain the full rules which i am looking at tweaking slightly to make it easier to exclude non partakers who dont show up untill the very end which i know has been a problem before. I know also there has been a problem with people not sending and i am looking at ways of dealing with that. I will allow 2 weeks for people to pffer to participate. I would then reacon on a few days to allow me to finalise whos sending to who. Once that is done ill allow 4-6 weeks to mail the models to each other. I also am keen to allow 2-3 months painting time as id like to see these models painted.

For now i was planning to keep this to a show of hands thread to see if people where still interested. In a few days i will start up a proper thread and then i will be asking for peoples locations and shippping preferances, this will also contain the new rules including the strike system we are working on to ensure that things run more smoothly.
