Hey guys, i\'m from New Zealand, but have been away for about 6 weeks. During this, i\'ve had times of great boredem in which I did a lot of websearching and came across this site.
I love it!
From painting and conversion tips, to the work in progress thread, i\'ve had all kinds of things to keep me occupied.
6 or 7 years ago I started playing Warhammer fantasy and 40k, and spent a lot of time painting and converting. About 2 years ago my life was turned upside down for a number of reasons and after moving house for the third time my miniatures have stayed in their box since.
Before I went away I had been thinking a little bit about finding them and getting them out again, I even found a Gaming Society in my area. But after finding this site, i\'m definately getting them out again. I\'ll be back in about a week or so, and can\'t wait to start posting my conversions and paint jobs (I remember them being awesome, but something tells me thats the glaze of history, and they need a lot more work).
I\'ve got just a few questions, two in fact:
1. Whats this \'trade a mini\' thing i\'ve heard about? (edit: Turns out I was thinking of the Mini Exchange, thanks people)
2. How many New Zealanders (and Australians) do we have here? It\'d be good to hear from a few of you.
Thanks all for this great site, I look forward to having my mini\'s voted on
