These do look like very nice models and I can see me painting more than the odd one or two of them. From what I saw at GD they are a big improvement on the previous dwarves, I particularly like the stone thrower and the Dwarf King on his Throne.

How do they walk?

I like dwarfs and I like these ones too.

Lots of character there......especially the guy with 2 guns.

I got a good look at the sprues at games day, they are really cleanly sculpted and very highly detailed. Plus they seem to have managed to pack a really large amount of components onto the sprues

i saw these - didn\'t realise they were the new ones (i think the labeliing of the stands was appaling) i thought they were just conversions!! d\'oh! they do look nice though and i\'ve always hated dwarves (sorry guys)

Well I know that the older models had their beards tucked into belts, pouches, pants, shirts, and anything else that came along.

Tempted to buy these...well I\'ve always been tempted by dwarves, but this is -very- temping...

I had the Dwarf flyer through the post this morning with my latest order from GW the pictures oon it look a lot better than those shown on the site and there is also a very neat looking Dwarf Lord Thorgrim Grudgebearer on Throne that is due for release in March 2006.

Come to think of it whilst I am at it here are the release dates from the flyer that way it saves on all the PM\'s asking when :D

Don\'t know what the Army Deal will include but I am sure we can all make a guess on this oone and seeing as the flyer is now out the website might have the advance order up soon for it :D

Also not sure what the difference will be between the Rune Lord and the Grudge Thrower???

EDIT: Just had the sneak peaks thingy through on e-mail and discovered that the Grudge Thrower is a catapult/balista thingy so ignore the last paragraph :D

I dont like dwarves much either but they are some sweet mini. i dont care what anyone says GW rule when it comes to plastics.
