Hello everyone.
I am will keep you posted on the latest WIPs I am working on. I am coming back to the painting side of things after a time-off.
Here are two things I am currently working on. A Space Wolves standard bearer and an Ork Dakkajet.
The standard bearer is an old mini of mine (the metal version) which I found lying in the dark box of the closet and, after being stripped of colour I started working on it again. It is a quick paint job, and I am not going to bother a lot with it as it is going on sale asap it is finished.
Colours used on the wolf are:
As for the Dakkajet, it is pretty straightforward up to this point. All parts except the clear ones are glued in place. Now it is time to start priming the model, and fill any gaps on the two halves if possible. I am going to use the Mr Surfacer 1200 from Gunze for this, and I will start painting the pilot and cockpit as these can be painted seperately.
As for the canopies, the general idea is to mount them on the model and use the Micromask liquid to mask the clear panels, before I hit the model with the airbrush.
Thank you for looking.
