I am trying to do a diorama that includes an IG that has just been shot. In that i mean he has literally just had the weapon shot happen to him, so in that vein I\'m trying to model the figure as having blood spraying from him. Unfortunatley I just can\'t seem to get it right. Can anyone help????????? :flame:

Hi,welcome to the forums.

Heres an idea.

The blood sprays would need to be in one piece,of course.

Tie some lenghts of thread to a cocktail stick or similar and suspend it so the threads are hanging down.Soak the threads in watered down PVA glue and leave to dry totally.Once dry add some blood drops to the threads with blobs of PVA/greenstuff/epoxy glue.
Cut to suit and paint it red.Glue it on.

The only problem I see is keeping the line straight when its glued on the figure.

Try experimenting with stuff.:D

Similar to Klute\'s idea you might consider trying to sculpt a little splash/droplety jet of blood coming from the bullet hole, instead of going for a wide spray which I think will have a tendency to look too solid and artificial.

I would take some bristles off a brush and glue them in the hole to make the splash effect and then paint them red.
