Just found a few pics of my warriors on the laptop so I thought I\'d put them up here to show them off. The photo\'s aren\'t brilliant but I suppose it\'ll hide my painting skills!

These are the ones I\'ve found so far but I\'ve got some more so when I get them I\'ll put them up to.

Can I ask a quick question?
185 people have viewed my pics and no one has said anything, are they that bad? Idon\'t mind a bit if people don\'t like them.

haha,i feel bad now for viewing but not posting anything XD

i actually do like them and i dont think they are bad at all.

the face of the standard bearer looks really good and i like all the nice details(like the blue glowing chaos star).

a pic of the whole regiment would be nice thou.
just to see how they all look as a unit.

im not a big fan of the bases because it looks like unpainted sand.

i think they would look awesome with black undercoated bases, then drybrushed with a 50/50 mix of scorched brown and black, followed by astartes grey and then a lighter grey.and some snow effect.

I think unfortunately many of us just look and nods and think that it looks alright rather then saying it. Instead we comment more when we have pointers or when something really blows are socks off. People tend to comment less on armies I guess as well as pointers generally are more difficult when a lot of work already have been put in.

I think as an army it looks good but I would second the comment of the bases. It just looks like unpainted sand which puts me off a bit.

I\'ve a confession to make, it is just sand. I\'m quite a lazy baser it would seem because others have mentioned this as well. Looks like I\'m going to have to do something about that.

you really should, because it looks like you put a lot of effort into the army and nice bases make minis sooooo much better.

even if a mini isnt painted too good a nice base makes it look so much better

and what avelorn said about comments ^_^

They do look good, and I would agree, the sand looks like sand. A bit of cleaning on some edge bases, and maybe a highlight on some flat looking armour and cloth would help. The sorcerer is cool looking.

I think the new bases really makes the miniatures stand out in a good way! :) It\'s often a good idea to have light bases if the miniatures are dark.

Cheers for that, I\'m just not looking forward to doing the 100 or so models I\'ve finished up already!

Just wait till you see how much it\'ll tie the entire army together though :)

Basing is very important for chaos when they\'re done dark and grimy (like they should be in my opinion), as mentioned by others something light will really work well, here\'s a good example of a dark chaos army with pretty much perfect basing : http://heelanhammer.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=37

Makes such a big difference, hold in there!
Also basing despite being time consuming is not too complicated, so whack on a dvd or something to break up the monotony :)

The bases look much better now; kinda like an ash wasteland. It makes the dark warriors stand out quite abit.
