That thing represents a fortune in bits! FW might have been cheaper in this case:D

At any rate this is really cool. Let\'s see it painted.

Ok, I\'m impressed.

Question 1: do you actually plan to field this thing, or is it just for display?

Question 2: does the mouth open and close, as some of the earlier WIP photos would imply?

Very cool!! Quite an undertaking and you\'ve done a fantastic job.

Too bad Luke Skywalker will be able to take it down with a simple snow speeder and a big cable...lol

answer 1: i don\'t play much, but i think it\'ll be worth trying it ... ;-)

answer 2: yes of course. addtionial to that the elevator in the back is still working and the head can still be twisted and removed for transport purpose ...
addtitionally i constructed the roof of the head in that way, that it still can be opened like a cabrio.

much more pics, showing, how it was contructed, you will find by following this link, which will lead you directly to my home-comunity: gw-fanworld.:

Really coming along nice, and shows alot of imagination and craftsmanship!!

I bet painting it now that it is all togethor is a pain. Unless its just pinned togethor for the pictures.

The only thing that makes it kind of weird to me is the building that is under its foot.

It looks great and the machine is only a game piece,, but from a purist stand point of view when it moves across the table it drags a fairly large size pile of building with it everywhere it goes.

Still, looks very very cool.
