... has just gone out the window...

I just recived the letter I sendt in this Miniature Exchange, back from the postal service... with an apoligy that the letter was \"damaged\" during transportation...

The letter was ripped open and the miniatures were pulled out... never to be seen... I sendt off over 30$ worth of minis...

Now I regret not insuring them, but I guess my faith in people were too much...

I\'m sorry Todd Hersy, you won\'t be reciving this batch... I can\'t afford to send anymore before I get paied, but then I\'ll try again, this time with insurance...

And I\'m still waiting for a package from Starplayer that I ordered three weeks ago :(

Apparently it\'s stuck at the import terminal in Stockholm, but it\'s been there two weeks now, so I\'m guessing they\'ve lost it

My south american relatives often say the most impressive thing about the USA is that you can trust the mail. When you post something you actually expect it to get there.

As to your ME problem, it\'s more likely that the package went through a machine that caught it and mangled it. How was it packaged? You said letter, which to me implies envelope, and I can easily see a machine catching an envelope that isn\'t basically flat and ripping it up.
The post should really be watching for things like that and not just catch them when the pieces of scrap paper show up in the bottom of a mail bag.

Just strange that the miniatures were not sendt back, as they were in their packages, they should be fairly ok...

It might have been ripped, but if they tossed out my minis, they are gonna pay up...

They are pretty good at responding to both GPA and myself.
I\'d suggest that you double check that you\'ve given them the right email address or that your spam filter isn\'t blocking them.
