Hi, haven\'t posted for a while so I thought that I\'ll show you my wip young bloods entry.

It\'s a fabius bile with spyre patriach arms, made to resemble doc ock.

I\'ve spent somewhere near 15 hours on this guy so far maybe 20 hard to tell, but anyway, the base is still very WIP but the actual model is about half maybe a bit more through painting.

Anyway pics:

Please comment, and remeber I\'ve only been painting for about a year now.

Thanks,

Matt.

Looks very clean, but due to the nature of the particular mini I would need larger pics in order to make comments.

A nice pic of the main mini, would be good.

Cos you can\'t really see his front as he is bent over.

I like it so far! Great job.

How old are you again ?

Cant see the mini very well but it looks like a neat conversion. i would do more of a ruined building look to the base tho. Seems to be more in keeping with 40K

Good luck

Yeah same again need a better pic..
The base would look good as rubble with the legs crawling over it..May need to reposition legs a bit there though if possible..
From what I can see could maybe do wit some weathering on the metals but will wait for better pics.. Looking good though ..

I\'d just like to say that for a US YB comp, if you convert you almost garenty a stop in the top three (which is why I didn\'t place )

Thanks for all the comments guys, I\'ve done a marine rather than a gurdsman, and I\'ll do the edge of the base slightly later on.

I think the amrine looks good, but the scratches are not as good as I hope, any tips pelase tell me.

The marine isnt stuck on, its only placed there for photograyphy so the position is easily changed:

Quite good, reminds me of Doc Oc of Spiderman fame. There are some rough looking spots, but I\'m sure you\'ll fix those. One potential problem I can see is that it is not entirely cleaned, for example there is a very apparent mold line running down the inside of the space marines left thigh. With a paint job as good as yours it would be a shame to lose points because of beginner mistakes. ;)

the over all idea is good also the work done so far.the dead marine would look better if you made him flat with the floor rather than just stuck onto the base

Looking very good, and I love the idea, I have been working on a similar one myself but convertong \'mad\' doc Grotsnik up to be Dokta Orktapus!

I agree with the comments regarding the positioning of the marine, looks a little odd as he is now.

Good going though mate, keep it up!

I think, with some advice from other, an injured or cowering in fear guardsmen would make more sence and not be so imposing on the base. Also, I cna\'t paint marines, and guardsmen look to me like a good sort of model for my abilities.

Thanks,

Matt.
